Christmas cards for 2010

Here are some Christmas Cards I have been working on. I hope you like them!

Scriptures Challenge #1 - Hope

Here is my creation for the word "HOPE." I used a greeting farm stamp and colored her with copic markers. I embossed an image of flowers, shrubs and a butterfly for a background. I used clear embossing and then used Tim Holtz distressing inks to ask color. I used a piece of scrap paper and a scrap border that is from the Que sera collection. I put flowers in the corner and then added bling. I just love flowers and bling so most of my projects include both.

Scripture Challenge

Saturday! Today I worked on my first Scripture challenge.

The key word is SERVE. I chose Psalms 100:1 and 2.

"Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!Serve the LORD with gladness.Come before his presence with singing."

I used the flying Tilda Magnolia stamp and I colored her with copic markers. Ther verses are on a top note die cut from Stampin Up. The paper is from my scraps so I am not sure what paper collection it came from.

Cards for Jadedstudio's fundraiser and my first pins

I made four different cards for the fundraiser. All the cards are sympathy cards and the inside is the same on all the cards. I used a stamp set from Stampin up. I also made my first pins. Let me know what you think. I want to try the face charm with smaller beads because I am not too happy with the one I made. But I love all the rest.

Mini Swap

I have joined the mini swap through TheBeachning.com (or something like that). My partner lives in the UK and we have alot of similar interests. I just got my Big Shot today. I ordered it from Joanns.com. It was half price so I could not pass it up. Now I will be able to cut chipboard! Yeah. I have about 15 dies already that I was using with my cuttlebug. The cuttlebut is just not strong enough to cut the chipboard. I bought the deep needle for the Cricut but it does not do a good job cutting the chipboard either.
